Teltonika RUTX11 is now EN 45545-2-certified, making it officially approved as safe for use in passenger trains across Europe. This standard is the technical specification on fire protection on railway vehicles in Europe and dictates the safety regulations devices used for passenger trains in Europe must meet.

But there is an additional aspect of passenger life that is much easier to achieve in trains than in planes: Internet connectivity. This increases the demand for railway connectivity for both passenger and operational benefits.

In addition, Teltonika RUTX11 has Dual SIM with auto-failover, backup WAN, and other switching scenarios, meaning that when crossing international borders, the router will switch to another operator to avoid roaming costs.
Teltonika RUTX11 is compatible with the Teltonika Networks Remote Management System (RMS). This makes remote management of the entire fleet of RUTX11 devices on any number of passenger trains incredibly easy.
