Combination magnetic antenna LTE/GNSS
Combination omnidirectional antenna, designed for signal reception in LTE/GNSS. technologies. The antenna operates in bands 900/1800/1900/2100/1575.42 MHz. In combination with an amplifier, this active antenna achieves a gain of up to 28 dBi in GPS band. Thanks to the built-in magnet, it is suitable for placement on any metal surface, eg on the roof of a vehicle. The antenna is supplied with two 3m cables with FAKRA connectors.
Connector specifications FAKRA:
FAKRA connectors in a plastic housing. These housings are available in 14 different colors for easy identification. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm, working frequency ranges up to 6 GHz, working temperature is from -40 °C to 105 °C. FAKRA connectors are most often used in the automotive industry, for example for connecting antennas, radios, navigation. They are also widely used in M2M and IoT devices. Connecting and disconnecting FAKRA connectors is easy, we guarantee up to 500 cycles.
Cable specifications RG174/U:
The cable labeled RG174/U is a much cheaper variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0-1 GHz, it can also be used for higher frequencies, but at the cost of higher attenuation – see the attached attenuation table below. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The operating temperature range is -20 to 80 °C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC/FAKRA/FME/MCX/MMCX/N/SMA/SMB/SMP/TNC and others. It is ideal for short and bending stressed connections in measuring and telecommunications technology, for GPS/GSM/WLAN antennas, antenna leads etc.
