Combined WiFi and LTE MIMO antenna
Combined mounting MIMO antenna designed for LTE and WiFi technologies. The antenna operates in bands 698‐960MHz/1710‐2690/4900‐5825 MHz. Using the so-called MIMO technology (Multiple Input, Multiple Output) and suitable positioning of the antennas, the resulting system achieves higher transmission rates. The antenna can be used in M2M as well as in IoT devices and systems. The IP67 degree of protection makes it suitable for outdoor use. The antenna system is supplied with three 3 m LMR100 cables with 2x SMA(m) and 1x SMA‐RP(f‐pin) connectors.
Connector specifications SMA:
These are high-frequency connectors with screw connection mechanisms. The characteristic impedance of the connector is 50 Ohm and the operating frequency range up to 18 GHz. There are two types of SMA connectors, namely SMA and RP-SMA. Most of the current cellular routers are equipped with SMA connectors for connecting Wi-Fi/2G/3G/LTE/GPS antennas terminated by proticates. It is also used as a standard connector in RF measuring technology. They are characterized by high reliability, durability, high mechanical stability and optimal electrical properties.
Cable specifications LMR100:
The LMR100 coaxial cable is compatible with connectors applicable to 2.8 mm cable outer diameter, such as SMA Male, TNC Male, N Male, N Female. It is mainly used for the frequency range 0-6 GHz. The characteristic impedance is 50 Ω. The most common cables of this type have a temperature range of -40 °C to + 85 °C. The LMR100 cable is used for connecting antennas as well as for VHF and UHF applications. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications. There are also specially adapted types of LMR100 cables for outdoor use, which are UV resistant, and for use in extreme conditions. It is made from different materials, different qualities.
