The SmartMeter device ensures safe charging of your electric car, which constantly monitors the charging stations and their current use of electricity in relation to the total consumption of the house. We offer two types of devices: BASE for charging one electric car or SMART for charging multiple electric cars. SmartMeter distributes power consumption to all devices according to current possibilities, measures the current consumption of the building or its sub-circuit, and evaluates the available power consumption for OlifeEnergy charging stations. It then controls the charging current according to the available power input. It ensures optimal use of the capacity of the electrical connection and thus prevents overload or mains failure. The measurement is performed indirectly using measuring transformers with a working core.
