Commander Gen2 control unit
The package also includes a control unit, the main communication interface with your Tesla. Commander Gen2 handles communication between the buttons and the vehicle. Once connected using the supplied cable and paired with the app, you can configure individual functions and create your own control shortcuts. The unit also allows selected functions to be assigned to the pedals or door handles, depending on the capabilities supported by the specific vehicle.
For this version, the unit is intended for installation in the front of the interior, under the dashboard on the passenger side.

Missing an instrument cluster on your dashboard?
The app also offers a dashboard function that displays selected driving data on your mobile phone. Once your phone is placed in a suitable holder, you can monitor selected driving information in real time, such as current speed, consumption, motor power and torque. It displays the selected level of regenerative braking and the percentage of accelerator pedal travel. Coloured indicators on the sides and at the bottom show the direction of the active turn signals or whether the brake lights are on.
