In 2019, SECTRON s.r.o. extends its range in the form of a very small compact antenna.
Antennas are nowadays widespread and are an integral part of all radio, broadcasting or receiving systems. This particular antenna model is designed for the frequency band of the UHF band.
By design, this antenna is classified as LPWAN for use in NB-IoT. This technology puts the emphasis on the following aspects: low power consumption, long range and low frequency bandwidth. From a technological point of view, the antenna is capable of operating on devices that are used for signal transmission in the ISM band. These include technologies such as RFID, LoRa, SigFox, and others.
This miniature, omni-directional spiral antenna design is impedance-adjusted for the 868 MHz frequency. Thanks to the minimalist design, this antenna can be easily integrated into/out of the device. The antenna is equipped with an SMA (m) connector with a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω, which simplifies the overall concept. This eliminates the need to use symmetry members, and reduces lead-induced attenuation, inaccurate soldering and connectors. The range of usable frequency band is around 25 MHz with a lower and upper limit range of 855 to 880 MHz.
Furthermore, SECTRON s.r.o. is preparing a cloud service for 2019 that will greatly extend the existing portfolio of functions of the GSM KEY SMART3T.
