News from Robustell

Robustel has prepared a number of interesting products for this year, extending its already extensive portfolio. Among their modems will be a new version of M1200 for NB-IoT or CAT M1 frequencies. The modem supports IPSEC, GRE, OpenVPN, RobustVPN, and other highly used services, and can also connect to Microsoft Azure or Cumulocity cloud services.

Routers were expanded with R2110, a global version of the R2100. R2110 boasts high-speed transmissions via ethernet and wifi, GPS locator, POE for connected devices, a big number of inputs and outputs, serial communication, and even Bluetooth.

Robustel is also going to be looking more into the development of Android-based industrial computers. Their first addition is RAC 7000. Thanks to Android, it is better suited to places where other devices are much more difficult to implement. These places can be smart vending machines, smart charging stations, self-service ticketing terminals, or smart advertising devices. The number of ways to use RAC 7000 is almost limitless and depends only on the customer and how they’ll need to program its functions.

Another interesting thing is the new gateway from Robustel, EG8001. This small gateway is the size of traditional Robustel modems, such as the M1000. It was specifically designed to provide a connection in elevators. Here they can be used to deliver ads to customers, real-time camera recordings, or to call technicians in case of a malfunction.

Last but not least, the RobustOS App Store has been announced. All applications developed by Robustel will be accessible in the RCMS cloud solution. Installation to any connected device is done with a single click. Distributors, partners, or even customers will be able to make their own free or monetized apps for Robustel devices and make them available here similarly to Google Play or App Store.

Robustel has also came up with other products like the R1500 or R3010, but we'll talk about that during the year, as soon as more information will be revealed.
