The OlifeEnergy DoubleBox SOLAR is a robust, durable Czech-made charging station that allows you to charge an electric car from your photovoltaic power plant (PVE).
DoubleBox is designed for charging all types of electric cars on the EU market with alternating current (AC). It charges up to 22 kW. The input power cable must be preceded by a Residual Current protective Device type A, with a max. rated current 40 A.
It can charge two electric cars at the same time, each with an input of up to 22 kW.
Charging from FVE overflows
DoubleBox SOLAR communicates with selected PV inverters (GoodWe (ET series), SOLAX, Dražice, Huawei (SUN2000), SOFAR) for domestic photovoltaic power plants (PV) without the need to purchase an OlifeEnergy SmartMeter for main circuit breaker protection.
The solar module communicates with the photovoltaic inverter via Wi-Fi or Ethernet protocol ModBus TCP over a local network (LAN). In addition, it mediates remote administration and setting of the station over the local network. The cooperation with the inverter allows the station to control the charging of the electric car in such a way as to achieve the highest possible charging speed with the maximum efficiency of the produced solar energy for charging the car from excess PV.
Robust construction and the possibility of indoor and outdoor use
Thanks to the degree of protection IP54, it is durable and suitable for outdoor use and installation in indoor spaces such as garages. It can be mounted on a wall or on a stand that is anchored to the ground (mount field).
This DoubleBox is equipped with two socket and with two cables twisted Type 2 (Mennekes), which is 4 m long.
At the customer's request, the station can be delivered with a longer cable for an individual surcharge.
Charging stationcan work locally. Charging therefore starts automatically as soon as the vehicle is connected or after identification with an RFID card. The power of the station can be controlled in the range of 0 - 43 kW by a local unit. The station is equipped with protection against electric current overload. DoubleBox can be used for comfortable charging in smaller companies or at home.
The Solar management function for managing charging from photovoltaic power plants took the 2nd place in the 2023 Fleet of the Year survey.
