Built-in cellular module CALYX 5G Raspberry Pi HAT+
Teltonika CALYX 5G is a compact mobile module (HAT+) designed for seamless integration with Raspberry Pi 4 and 5. It is an ideal solution for projects where Wi Fi or Ethernet is unavailable, unreliable, or where globally stable backup connectivity is required.
Design and installation
The module mounts directly onto the Raspberry Pi through the 40-pin GPIO header and forms a unified physical unit with the board, replacing cable clutter with an elegant and compact solution. It features four SMA male antenna connectors.
Connection reliability
This version is equipped with a full-scale 5G NR modem designed for the most demanding applications that require massive data throughput or ultra-low latency.
Low profile and durability
Its low-profile format efficiently saves space and eliminates the need for bulky external modems, delivering robust and resilient connectivity for critical tasks. With an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +75 °C it is ideal for outdoor installations and industrial environments.
Power and data
Power supply and high-speed data transmission are provided either via a modern USB-C interface or through the 40-pin GPIO header, delivering a stable 5 V or 3.3 V DC to the module.
GPIO management
Advanced management of Raspberry Pi GPIO pins enables remote modem control. You can remotely restart, wake or completely power the module off and on, ensuring maximum network availability even in critical or inaccessible applications.
PCM audio
Integrated PCM audio support ensures clean, low-latency audio transmission suitable for applications requiring high-quality voice communication.
