Teltonika TAP400 WiFi Access Point
The WiFi Access Point from Teltonika Networks is an ideal solution for extending wireless coverage and sharing a WiFi signal, for example in homes, offices, restaurants, hotels, or conference areas.
The Teltonika TAP400 WiFi Access Point allows devices such as smartphones, laptops, desktop computers, tablets, or televisions to connect to the internet without the need for cables. The main advantages of the Teltonika TAP400 are easy installation and simple configuration.
WiFi 6 performance and capacity
This WiFi Access Point provides wireless data transmission between multiple devices and the internet using the modern WiFi 6 standard 802.11ax. The TAP400 offers data rates of up to 2402 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 576 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band, and supports up to 512 simultaneously connected devices thanks to MU MIMO technology.
Power supply and connectivity
Thanks to the PoE in function, the Teltonika TAP400 can be powered directly via the same Ethernet cable that provides data connectivity. Three integrated omnidirectional antennas ensure optimized coverage in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, while the internet connection is provided through an RJ45 connector.
Advanced WiFi features
Support for WiFi Mesh and Fast Roaming ensures seamless client handover between access points without connection drops. This makes the TAP400 suitable for environments with a higher number of access points where a smooth user experience is essential.
Design and installation
The Teltonika TAP400 WiFi Access Point is housed in an elegant plastic enclosure that is UV stabilised, ensuring colour stability even under long term direct sunlight exposure. The integrated mounting bracket allows easy ceiling installation.
Remote device management and monitoring
With the purchase of the Teltonika TAP400 Access Point, you receive 24 months of free access to the Teltonika Remote Management System RMS. This platform enables remote management and monitoring of all Teltonika network devices. The system allows configuration changes and collection of device status information, even when the devices do not have public IP addresses.
