Omnidirectional GSM/UMTS antenna, RG58, optional connector
Omnidirectional antenna designed with open end for signal reception in GSM/UMTS technologies. The antenna operates in bands 900/1800/2100 MHz. It is suitable for connection with modems/routers. With a suitable location on the grounding metal surface, the antenna reaches a gain up to 9 dBi and is also suitable for outdoor use. The antenna includes a coaxial cable RG174/U open-end (optional connector). The cable length is 5 m.
Cable specifications RG174 / U:
The cable labeled RG174 / U is a basic variant of a coaxial cable that is compatible with connectors applicable to a cable diameter of 2.8 mm. The characteristic impedance of the cable is 50 Ω. The reduction factor is fixed at 0.66. The most common cables of this type have a temperature range of -20 to 80 °C.
It is most often used for creating cable adaptors with connectors such as BNC / FAKRA / FME / MCX / MMCX / N / SMA / SMB / SMP / TNC and others.
