We are introducing a new product: the Robustel R5020-Lite router

The company Robustel focuses on the development and production of IoT (Internet of Things) solutions. It specializes in products such as modems, industrial gateways, and cloud services for connecting and managing IoT devices. It concentrates on providing secure and reliable IoT solutions. In the competitive environment of the 5G router market, Robustel is able to offer cutting-edge products and services to customers worldwide.

A new introduction to the industrial router market is the RobustelR5020-A series, which enables the use of advanced 5G network features. These routers offer a range of security functions, high transmission speed, low latency, and exemplary reliability, which is essential for applications requiring high data throughput. Protocols such as IPSEC, DMVPN, and Open VPN can be used to connect to main networks. The RCMS platform, designed to work with the RobustOS operating system, provides maximum functionality in monitoring status and location, management (remote router configuration), and device diagnostics.

The R5020-A router series supports 5G networks and, as is standard, fallback to 3G/4G. At 5G frequency, the devices provide transmission speeds of up to 867 Mbps, while at 2.4 GHz band, the maximum transmission speed is 300 Mbps. It is equipped with 4 x SMA(f) connectors for external antennas and 2 x RP-SMA(m) for WiFi as standard, and also has digital inputs and outputs. It contains 4 basic LAN ports that can be configured to 1 x WAN and 3 x LAN.

The latest addition to the 5G router series is the Robustel  R5020 Lite, which stands out for its favorable price, with the same technologies and functions as the R5020-A. However, unlike the R5020-A, the Lite version does not support Ethernet PoE-PD, has only 2 x LAN ports that can be configured to 1 x LAN and 1 x WAN port. Being a Lite version, the router has less RAM for SDK (128 instead of 256 MB). The Lite version does not include GNSS and USB port.

The Robustel R5020 Lite stands out with its compact dimensions and two slots for nano SIM cards. When connected to a serial interface, it provides two connection options: RS-232 or RS-485. It is designed for use in industrial automation, autonomous robotics, camera systems, remote control of working machines, and many other applications. Thanks to its durable metal casing, these routers can be used even in demanding environments with an operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C.
