Industrial LTE Router Robustel R1510e with Integrated eSIM
The Robustel R1510e is a compact industrial LTE router designed for connecting Ethernet devices and digital inputs and outputs using a fully integrated eSIM card, which completely eliminates the need for physical SIM cards.
Advanced eSIM Management
The R1510e router replaces the SIM card slot with an integrated MFF2 eSIM that supports the GSMA SGP.22 standard. This significantly simplifies global device deployment, mobile tariff management, and ensures maximum stability for long term operation.
Flexible Interfaces
This LTE router features DI/DO interfaces and two Ethernet ports (configurable as LAN/WAN or dual LAN). Integration of serial technologies into modern IP networks is simplified by the built in Modbus gateway (RTU to TCP) and transparent TCP/UDP modes, eliminating the need to modify supervisory software.
Connectivity flexibility is ensured by the WiFi interface (AP/Client) together with the automatic failover function. This guarantees reliable backup connectivity and seamless switching between 4G/3G/2G networks, Ethernet, or WiFi.

- Smart Metering: The router provides cost-effective and long-term mobile connectivity for smart metering and energy consumption monitoring applications. The integrated eSIM significantly simplifies mass deployment and lifecycle management through remote monitoring via the RCMS platform.
- Backhaul in industrial automation: The R1510e-4L ensures reliable mobile connectivity for industrial controllers (PLC), sensors, and terminals at fixed locations. Centralized configuration and remote eSIM profile management significantly reduce service visits and maintenance requirements over time
- Environmental monitoring: The device enables continuous data transmission in environmental and energy-related projects. eSIM technology removes the need for physical SIM card handling in the field, allowing scalable remote management even in hard-to-reach locations.
Ideal solution for space-constrained installations
With compact dimensions of 91.5 × 91.5 × 31.5 mm, the R1510e is one of the smallest industrial routers on the market. It is therefore an excellent choice for installation in locations with limited space, such as vending machines or small control cabinets.
Remote management with Zero-Touch technology
Thanks to close integration with RCMS (Robustel Cloud Manager Service) and Zero-Touch eSIM Provisioning technology, eSIM profiles can be remotely assigned and activated on a large scale. This system overcomes the limitations of the standard SGP.22 protocol and enables true mass deployment without manual configuration.
Advanced VPN security
The router offers a comprehensive set of VPN protocols including IPsec, OpenVPN, GRE, and WireGuard, ensuring secure connectivity with corporate infrastructure.
RobustOS operating system
The R1510e runs on the modular Linux-based RobustOS operating system. This system is specifically designed for industrial IoT needs and supports installation of additional applications through the SDK. This allows the router’s functionality to be tailored to specific project requirements without changing the entire firmware.
