OlifeEnergy Doublebox BASE is a robust, durable Czech-made charging station. DoubleBox is designed for charging all types of electric cars on the EU market with alternating current (AC). It charges up to 22 kW. It can charge two electric cars at the same time, each with an input of up to 22 kW.
Thanks to the degree of protection IP54, it is durable and suitable for outdoor use and installation in indoor spaces such as garages. It can be mounted on a wall or on a stand that is anchored to the ground (mount field). 

This Doublebox is equipped with two sockets. Cable not included. We offer OlifeEnergy DoubleBox BASE chargers with EL-DB22-BASE-TC and EL-DB22-BASE-C cables. Alternatively, visit the Charging Cables category in our e-shop.

The basic version 'BASE' can work locally. Charging therefore starts automatically as soon as the vehicle is connected or after identification with an RFID card. The power of the station can be controlled in the range of 0 - 43 kW by a local unit. The station is equipped with protection against electric current overload. DoubleBox can be used for comfortable charging in smaller companies or at home.

Charging control

The total power consumption of the station can be dynamically regulated using the external module OlifeEnergy SmartMeter BASE. SmartMeter is a device that ensures optimal use of the capacity of the electrical connection by measuring the current consumption of the DoubleBox or its sub-circuit and evaluating the available power consumption for the OlifeEnergy charging station. The station then regulates the charging current according to the available power input.

Charging from FVE overflows

The OlifeEnergy Solar Module can be purchased in addition to this DoubleBox, which enables communication with selected inverters for domestic photovoltaic power plants (PVE) without the need to purchase an OlifeEnergy SmartMeter to protect the main circuit breaker. The Solar management function for managing charging from photovoltaic power plants took the 2nd place in the 2023 Fleet of the Year survey.

The input power cable must be preceded by a Residual Current protective Device type A, with a max. rated current 40 A.
